Kailey Purpur

Instructor, Dance Team Choreographer

Kailey Purpur grew up dancing in the suburbs of Chicago at Gotta Dance Studio. Influenced by Michele Broviak, Jory Bowling, Sarah Ford, Jay Fagan, Jason Janas, Kacy Combs, Sam Renzetti, and Avnun Yakubov to name a few. Kailey attended Ripon College in Wisconsin where she was Co Captain of the dance team. Kailey has been trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Lyrical and Contemporary. Tap being one of Kailey’s passions, she has been honored to perform with Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Wanting to share her knowledge, Kailey became the primary tap instructor & competition choreographer for Midwests top rated, Powerhouse Dance Company under Jory Bowling at the age of 15. Her choreography won numerous overall high scores, special awards and title wins both regionally as well as nationally. Previously, Kailey instructed and choreographed at DeForest Dance Academy for 8 years. Since 2015, Kailey continued her teaching both competitively as well as recreationally at Dance Xplosion located in Bloomingdale, Illinois. In addition, this past year Kailey was a Co Director for the Jazz Division for the Xtreme Dance Force located in Naperville, Illinois. Which is the number one Hip Hop and Jazz troupe in the midwest. During Kailey’s time at Xtreme she contributed to the success of receiving the first Primer Cups given by Starpower. Within the year Kailey’s wedding Choreography has gone viral with over 9.7 million views on youtube, “Kyle and Nicole’s Amazing Wedding Dance.” Since, Kailey’s wedding choreography has taken off with this new trend. Kailey has also done numerous print and film work in the Chicagoland area. In April 2015 Kailey performed in “Branson’s Day Off’ flash mob with Richard Branson for the grand opening of Chicago’s Virgin Hotel. Kailey has judged for Nexstar and Starquest National Talent Competitions for years, which has shown a wide variety of talent through her travels. Kailey is absolutely thrilled to be joining the Bravo family and looks forward to a successful season in the sunshine state!
